Weekly Dev Log #6


What I've Been Doing:

Additions:

- Added new Boss: The Peeper

- Finished end cutscene for after the game is beaten

- Worked on getting the Steam page up (should be up in a couple of days)

- Changed the game end conditions and made it so that the game ends after 5 nights are completed

- Added a priority mechanic to the pickup function

- Added more controller support

- Adjusted all audio volume to match up better

- Lots of bug fixes

- Small tweaks to some of the items


What's Next:

The next week is going to be focusing on playtesting, bug fixes, item balancing, monster balancing, and small tweaks + additions to get the game ready for release (hopefully on Mon. 27th or soon after). The game will be available on Steam and Itch.io priced at $9.99 and will have controller support and keyboard and mouse support. The game currently has 50 items (25 of which are locked on start), 3 bosses (not including the final boss), and 2 playable characters (1 locked on start). After release, if the game does well, the plan is to add more items, decorations, bosses, and just overall content to the game.
