Accomplishments

What's in the demo?:

The demo has 10 items, 10 decorations, 1 boss, and 1 zombie type. Right now, there is little to no story and the game has no end state (player just keeps playing until they die). Each item has its own unique effect on the player, with some items even changing a core gameplay mechanic. Some of the decorations are animated and some (1) even have their own dialog.

Next Step

Story:

Mainly, the next thing that I want to do is to add a story to the game. I want there to be an intro cutscene (for when the player starts the game) and an outro cutscene (for when the player beats the game (yes, I want the game to be beatable)).


Monsters:

I want to add another zombie type to give the waves more variety and to spice up the gameplay a bit. On top of this, I also want to add 2 other bosses on top of the boss that's already in the game, as well as a final boss (so 4 bosses in total).


More Content:

The demo currently has 10 items and 10 decorations. I have no idea how many I want to actually be in the final release of the game, but for now I want to get at least 25 of each in before the next large stage of development. I also want to lean more into the items that add a unique mechanic (like the hanged man or the bouncing bullets). Leave a comment if you have a cool idea for an item / decoration.


Bug Fixes:

There are currently a couple bugs that I know of at the moment which I'm going to iron out. (PS, if you get a rare bug where you can't kill any of the zombies, close and relaunch the game.) Leave a comment if you find any bugs.
